Welcome everybody and thank you for taking your time into reading my views on BTEC Business, my name is Priya and i am in Year 12 and i am currently studying at A Level BTEC Business Level 3 Extended Diploma, this consist of 9 units in 2 years which is altogether 18 units. So far i am very pleased and i have enjoyed every part of business level 3 because each unit and each task i am learning something new every day what i have achieved and learnt currently through the units. Unit 19 is about developing teams so i was introduced to working in a team which i was already familiar with it was fun and interesting because it helped me and other students learn to share each other’s views, respond and listen, we also get to put each of our own effort into the work. Also in this task we conducted interviews with all the teachers in Arden College and students from post 16 to find out their views and what they enjoy about Arden College. In our team for Unit 19 our task was involved in making our own Video about Arden College for our Post 16 open day to students and parents who would like to send their children to Arden College to study. What i learnt through this task is that it helps people and yourself understand the features and key features of working together and how all putting effort in can go a long way to help you develop academically and practically. Also you get to see the fantastic views of the new exquisite building, in Unit 4 we learnt about many different types of communication and how they all contribute to our daily life’s and how we use it and also how it benefits each person and why they are used. Why i like business is that its corporate into our daily life’s, it’s so fascinating to learn and find out about and you can combine business with many subjects because business can go with any subject you study at Arden College because we are in a business everyday of our life’s. The teachers at Arden College are so helpful and positive and love to teach students new concepts. They dedicate their time for each of the students to help each student achieve what they need to in their life. Creating a blog is very helpful because it helps me understand the units i need to learn and the contents and i can also assess it anywhere in the world so this is a fantastic idea and i also get to see other students views and what they think of BTEC Business and how it helps them achieve what they need to achieve in their life.
